Our Work - Enterprise Data Platform
i15 was appointed by a public sector organisation to design, from the ground up a cloud hosted Enterprise Data Platform to take advantage of the scale and agility of the public cloud.
The goal was the development of a secure architecture to enable the client to:

Consolidate legacy data platforms onto a strategic cloud platform

Leverage their existing investment in public cloud

Enable the consumption of modern data analytic tools including Synapse, Databricks, AI and Machine Learning

Integration with existing identity and access management platforms to facilitate single sign-on

Engineering and delivery of an Infrastructure-as-code toolset to enable the infrastructure to be fully managed in code

Expanding the system to cater to additional functionality, as well as new and emerging use-cases and requirements
I15 developed a new architecture to provide a streamlined, secure, highly efficient infrastructure and developed the adoption frameworks needed to mobilise workloads to the cloud. Also, transitioning from a legacy platform, the team sought to ensure the architecture addressed previous inefficiencies related to agility, usability, power consumption, and data centre footprint
The team delivered enterprise architecture (EA) designs and patterns that catered for various areas, such as:

Full scripted and repeatable environment build mechanisms using Terraform to streamline business development
